The Role

We are offering a unique opportunity to join our Service Transformation Division as a Self Service Business Analyst. You will have responsibility for the collection and analysis of data in relation to online self service. You will assist in identifying trends and opportunities to enhance customer self service take up and retention.

Focus areas will include;

• Understanding what activates customers to use online self service and provide analysis that will assist attraction and retention of customers to self service
• Providing innovative ideas and assisting with identifying process improvements
• Designing solutions in the form of business requirements that optimise attraction and retention, incorporate a holistic approach to all self service channels and evaluate and manage risk
• Determining and designing the necessary and sufficient training outputs required to ensure successful implementation of attraction and retention tactics
• Liaising directly with business partners, contractors and key stakeholders including Divisional and Senior Managers in Retail Services and Business Technology Services, to meet requirements of the role

Skills and Experience

• The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following;
• A qualification in a data analysis discipline or similar
• Experience in using and creating reporting systems and/or
  tools including Oracle BI
• Demonstrated experience in web data analysis including
  Google Analytics
• Ability to communicate within both a technical (IT) and
  business environment
• Significant experience analysing and designing change to
  optimise online user experience
• Significant experience completing training needs analysis,
  designing training materials and delivering training to groups and individuals including frontline staff and team leaders

Key Selection Criteria

1. Demonstrated experience in analysing web data and producing
compelling findings

2. Demonstrated research and evaluation skills in relation to
web self service

3. Demonstrated experience with data mining to identify
relevant levers impacting online behaviours

This full time role is classified as an Officer Level 4 ($84,981 - $89,863, plus 9.50% superannuation per annum, dependent on experience).
