The Role

You will lead a small team within our Growth & Development department in:

  • processing applications for residential, commercial and industrial water connections, non-works development, build-over easement requests and responding to technical enquiries;
  • providing sound technical input to the development and implementation of service schemes;
  • delivering great service to our customers, contractors and other authorities.

About you

You are a driven leader that is passionate about the positive effect your role and your team has on the success of our business and the community. You are a great communicator, with a strong ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders and your team. You possess strong technical know-how and the ability to get the best out of your people.

You have:

  • Qualifications in Civil Engineering or a similar discipline and/or extensive relevant experience;
  • Working knowledge of water industry technical standards, survey techniques, planning schemes and subdivision processes;
  • Demonstrated understanding of the regulatory framework and industry best practice in property services management;
  • Well-developed skills in stakeholder engagement and leading effective teams; and
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
