Sydney Water is a world leader in an industry that is as essential to our community as the water it delivers.

We are currently seeking an Identity & Access Services Specialist to deliver and operate identity and access services on a day to day basis to ensure effective and efficient technology delivery, using service frameworks, architectures and solutions supporting the IT Strategic Plan and Sydney Water customers.

In this role you will:

• Deliver, operate and implement identity and access services across all sites ensuring service levels, availability, capacity and resilience

• Collaborate with all IT teams and relevant frameworks to provide information on identity and access services supporting, delivery, development and continuous improvement of future foundation services.

• Work with external service providers to operate and implement the day to day maintenance and monitoring of all identity and access systems and services, informing the functional lead of any risks, issues and performance impacts.

To be successful you will have Tertiary degree qualification in information technology, computer science or similar or equivalent industry experience and a minimum 5 years’ experience in Information Technology as well as a minimum 3 years’ experience in delivery, implementation and operation of identity and access services.

Working as part of a team in a changing and challenging environment, you will have the following experience: 

• Demonstrated ability to operate and implement technologies across a number of geographical locations.

• Excellent communication skills, flexibility, team focus and dedication to customer service

• Ability to communicate complex technical problems effectively in a clear and concise way in language and concepts customers can understand.

• Technical expertise in operating and maintaining identity and access services.

• Technical knowledge and/or experience in networking and security technologies

• Demonstrated knowledge of security and identify management technologies
