Sydney Water is a world leader in an industry that is as essential to our community as the water it delivers.

Working within the Asset Data and Information (ADI) Unit, based in Parramatta, this position reports to the Asset Information Enhancement Manager and requires close interaction with the ADI Change and Communications Manager. You will work closely with project managers and subject matter experts to ensure that you understand business processes and needs, and the impact of change.

You will provide expertise in the field of change management in support of specific ADI enhancement projects and initiatives, including support beyond the life of projects. You will have demonstrated capability in working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders across all levels of the organisation, as well as independently, to ensure smooth implementation of project deliverables. This will include stakeholder mapping and analysis, undertaking change impact and readiness assessments, and developing change, engagement and communications plans.

You will also advise on training and communication materials that align with ADI standards. Workshop design, facilitation, and experience in process and group facilitation will assist you in your role.

You have the ability to manage conflicting priorities across multiple projects of varying complexity. Being an effective communicator, you are comfortable communicating complex concepts/ information to diverse audiences through relevant channels, demonstrating good interpretation of audience needs.

Experience in writing, publishing, design and/or print/electronic production to support communication activities, as well as advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office to develop work products, will be necessary.

To be successful in this role, you will have appropriate tertiary qualifications and at least two years’ relevant organisation development experience in change, communication, engagement, and facilitation. You must be self-motivated with a high level of commitment to meet deadlines and satisfy stakeholder needs.
