What will you do?

With commitment to client delivery we welcome applications to enable us to be future ready as we move through the current climate of change. At Aurecon we are actively seeking talent to join us in working with key NSW clients including Sydney Water and Water NSW. Aurecon and Arup recently won a 10-year contract to partner with Sydney Water to build an integrated in-house planning and concept design team and to support technical assurance of the capital program.

The opportunities to be involved in an exciting and important capital programmes are immense. You will be working with planning, design and construction teams to oversee quality outcomes are achieved on a range of Water projects including treatment plants, pipelines, and pumping stations.

These roles provide flexible working and working from home.

In this position you will join our Water team, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that 'Bring Ideas to Life' for our clients. With a focus on building our water and wastewater network planning team, we are actively recruiting for those with passionate about working collaboratively and building on technical knowledge.

We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world's economic development and, it's the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key things you will do to 'bring ideas to life':

  • Water and wastewater planning including integrated water management, strategic and detailed planning, adaptive planning and network modelling.
  • Work collaboratively with clients and team members to deliver excellent project outcomes.
  • Experience in network modelling and associated software packages (e.g. InfoWorks) considered highly desirable.
  • Commitment to your own ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Support and delivery of high-quality technical outputs to provide a quality product that meets client expectations.
  • Your strengths in written and verbal communication will support inter-disciplinary relationships and production of planning outputs including reports and presentations.

What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need a relevant tertiary qualification in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering and relevant network and systems planning experience in the Water industry.
