How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?

As a Senior Water Planning Engineer, you will be joining our NSW ACT Water Team where you will act as a key member of a highly skilled team. We know the work we do is vital in assisting our world’s economic development and, it’s the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart.

Your role will include:

  • Lead the planning and development of water and wastewater solutions for network systems and pumping stations.
  • Prepare project proposals, engineering/planning reports, and cost estimates
  • Manage and coordinate projects from conception to completion
  • Conduct site evaluations and feasibility studies
  • Provide technical support to clients and team members
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to water and wastewater systems

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in water and wastewater engineering
  • Strong knowledge of water and wastewater planning
  • Experience in projects coordination
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software
