We are currently seeking an Engineer to join our Water & Waste Operations, Process Improvement & Technology Unit.

Primary Objectives of the position:

To assist the Principal Engineer Operations in the research and development of best practice approaches to the implementation of a range of strategic initiatives to ensure Water & Wastewater service delivery standards are enhanced.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering.
• Experience in Water and Wastewater Treatment Processes.
• Well-developed written communication skills with the ability to write reports, correspondence and memorandums.
• Demonstrated experience in the development and maintenance of quality systems.
• Working knowledge of relevant Acts & Regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse data from a water and wastewater operational environment or similar network infrastructure environment.
• Well-developed negotiation skills.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing and a national police history check.
