Manager Infrastructure – Water & Waste

This is a key position within our Water and Waste Department, reporting directly to the General Manager.  The occupant will provide leadership in the strategic planning and forecasting for the demand for water, wastewater and waste infrastructure, through to the design and delivery of the annual capital works program within the Department.

This is a broad role that covers the following responsibility areas in the management of Water and Waste Infrastructure:

  • Strategic Asset Planning and Design
  • Major Capital Water Project Delivery
  • Project Delivery
  • Demand Management Strategy
  • Asset Management

To be successful in the role you will have significant experience in the water, wastewater and solid waste strategic and tactical planning; high level experience in the management and delivery of significant capital works programs within a large organisation of Government environment; practice a participative leadership style that supports, motivates and inspires individual, team and corporate achievements. You must possess superior communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to maintain working relationships with employees as well as internal and external stakeholders.
