Your Role –  The Operations Centre Manager is accountable for the management and operation of the Operations Centre, which provides 24-hour, 7-day monitoring of the SCADA network, response to reactive maintenance issues and management of network incidents. Ensuring the continuous provision of water and sewerage services is a key function of the Operations Centre.

The Operations Centre Manager is also accountable for the management and performance of the Control Systems Team, who provide technical support for the SCADA system

Your key accountabilities are:

• Lead the Operations Centre to monitor and control (24/7) the operations of the sewerage, water and recycled water networks to meet Unitywater's Customer Charter obligations.

• Analyse network performance and work with the Engineering Operations Section to ensure network operations are appropriately managed and maintained.

• Provide an enterprise view of operational performance for Unitywater, minimising customer impacts during planned and reactive maintenance

Key factors to your success include:

• Degree in Engineering or other relevant technical discipline.

• Demonstrated expertise and significant experience in water and sewerage operations management, control centre management and/or managing and operating industrial control systems.
