EXPRESSION OF INTEREST TO VOLUNTEER FOR OUR SCIENTIFIC ADVISORY COMMITTEE

CSIRO Marine National Facilities (MNF) is asking for expressions of interest to join our Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC) as a volunteer member. As a committee member you will be unpaid, although expenses associated with attendance are reimbursed.

As part of the MNF’s commitment to developing the next generation of Australian marine scientists, we are seeking expressions of interest from an early career marine scientist (≤ 10 years since PhD confirmation and currently funded in an Australian postdoctoral position such as a DECRA, CSIRO Postdoctoral fellow or equivalent) to support the functions of the SAC.

Please note that you will be required to attach one document which incorporates the latest version of your CV (including the names and contact details of two supervisors or academic/ professional referees) plus a covering letter outlining your motivations for applying and your suitability for the role.

You will also be required to attend a short interview.
