Bulkwater Operations Engineer

Goulburn-Murray Water (GMW) is Australia’s largest rural water corporation responsible for storing, managing and delivering water across most of northern Victoria. GMW employs 750 staff across 25 offices servicing more than 37,000 customers.

Based in Tatura, we’re seeking an enthusiastic engineer to join our Customer Operations unit to provide assistance to the Head of Bulkwater Operations and support the Dam Operations Managers. In this rare role you will work with the operational teams to implement asset management plans, and plan and assist in the delivery of capital and maintenance works

You’ll provide guidance and support on the ongoing operational reliability and safety of bulkwater, environmental and large diversion river assets.  The role will see you liaising with internal and external service providers, customers, other authorities and external agencies in the ongoing development of environmental works, such as programme delivery, risk mitigation, and catchment and water protection.

If you have advanced knowledge of technical standards, dam safety & surveillance activities, and emergency management in relation to dams assets and a tertiary qualification in Engineering, we’d love to hear from you.
