What you need to know...

  • permanent full time - 76 hours per fortnight
  • salary - $49,267- $58,752 per annum, plus superannuation
  • a 9 day fortnight
  • location - South Grafton
  • the opportunity to accrue time in lieu

About the role

In the position of Field Operator (Floodplain) you will be required to undertake floodplain construction and maintenance works, including but not limited to floodgate and winch maintenance, pipe laying, concreting, mowing and brush cutting, to ensure high quality maintenance and construction of floodplain infrastructure and to ensure that activities comply with all Work Health and Safety (WH&S) policies and procedures.

Other important information

This position is located at Council's Rushforth Road Works Depot, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.

A probation period applies to this position.
