Band 2 ($50,037 - $64,115 per annum)* plus 9.5% superannuation

 

An exciting new opportunity is available for a professional and motivated individual to join our Business team. This is a full-time ongoing position that will be based at the Bairnsdale Head Office.

The East Gippsland region is an idyllic lifestyle location that is close to national parks, lakes, rivers and coastal regions. From the beach to the snow and everything in between, the region includes the iconic Gippsland Lakes, Alpine High Country, Snowy River and Coastal Wilderness areas. The IT Technical Officer will be play an important role in providing a high level of service to East Gippsland Water staff, through the effective and efficient delivery of IT support within the corporation.

In this role you will have the opportunity to utilise your technical knowledge, problem solving and software development skills to work with various stakeholders across the organisation, to develop and maintain EGW’s IT systems and processes. We are looking for a co-operative team member with knowledge of a diverse range of specialist software applications, and with a demonstrated ability and desire to further their knowledge in IT systems and processes specific to the water industry.
