About the role

We currently have an ongoing opportunity based for a suitably experienced candidate to take on the role of Governance Advisor. In this role you will be responsible for providing high level support and advice in relation to governance, legal, regulatory and statutory matters and instruments, and work closely with the Risk Systems Officer to provide continuous improvement to the enterprise risk management framework.

Based at our Head Office in Bairnsdale, the Governance Advisor will be responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of governance, risk and compliance policies, processes and procedures, as well as providing essential support in the coordination and administration of board and committee meetings.

About you

This role will showcase your strong organisation skills and exceptional eye for detail, as well as your highly developed ability to coordinate meetings, prepare reports. A strong understanding of the role of statutory boards and committees is essential to the role, along with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation to ensure compliance.
