These PhD research positions offer a once in a lifetime opportunity to learn and work alongside some of the worlds most revered groundwater scholars and renowned influential thinkers. You will conduct innovative research addressing the most pressing contemporary issues in groundwater science, management and policy.

Candidates with backgrounds in a range of science, engineering and social science disciplines are encouraged to apply.  Your academic record will be outstanding and you must have an honours degree (or equivalent). Some research experience is also desirable.

The closing date for Expressions of Interest is Friday 5th August 2016.  Shortlisted candidates will then be invited to proceed with a formal application to the partner university. 

All prospective PhD applicants who are approved for candidature must meet the eligibility requirements to apply for an Australian Postgraduate Award, or an equivalent at their nominated home university. Generous top-up scholarships may be available for suitable projects/students and will be negotiated with successful APA recipients.
