An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Director - Pricing. This role would suit someone with previous experience leading project teams, providing high level regulatory, economic and policy advice and dealing with a diverse group of stakeholders.
The Independent Pricing and Regulatory Tribunal (IPART) is an independent body that oversees regulation in the water, gas, and public transport industries in NSW. IPART also conducts reviews of significant policy issues, providing advice and recommendations to government. IPART is the Scheme Administrator of the NSW Energy Savings Scheme, and also has various licensing functions and a role in local government.
Reporting to the Executive Director, this key role is responsible for leading and managing a portfolio of complex reviews and the provision of high level economic advice to the Tribunal. The role is responsible for providing team leadership, program management, expert regulatory and policy advice, stakeholder liaison and compliance to ensure sound decision making within IPART.
