The Opportunity

Icon Water’s Network Branch is looking for a proactive and strategic-minded individual with a passion for problem solving to take on a great and unique opportunity as our Continuous Improvement Coordinator - Network Maintenance.

In this role, you will be managing, coordinating and supporting our process and system improvements including successful adoption and change management of these initiatives to end users. The primary focus in this role is the effective application of the Mobile Workforce Management (MWM) system to support our Branch achieve our goals and meet our customer needs.

A day in the life...

  • Support the Continuous Improvement and Performance Officer to develop and implement the Network Branch continuous improvement plan.
  • Ensure the effective application and usage of the MWM system, including management of faults, documentation and training of related end to end business processes and procedures.
  • Identify and champion opportunities for MWM to deliver “best for customer” and “best for business” outcomes.
  • Develop and manage the backlog of work for MWM enhancements, including prioritisation of works to deliver maximum business value.
  • Acts as the primary MWM contact and provides functional support and guidance for asset systems users (includes outside business hours on a rotating roster).

What are we looking for?

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively engage with stakeholders to improve workplace practices and end-to-end processes by applying effective verbal and written communication skills (Mandatory)
  • Experience in mobile works management systems in a utility context and/ or relevant experience in improving systems and processes in planning, scheduling, dispatch, mobile communications to optimise and manage field workforce activities and resources (preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to critically analyse data to determine opportunities for business efficiencies and improvements (highly desirable)
  • Experience in Business Analysis type activities and proven ability to identify, define and document business activities, processes, workflows and software requirements (desirable)
  • Skills in Power-BI or equivalent data analytics platform/tool (desirable)
  • Knowledge of Icon Water policies, procedures and regulatory reporting requirements (desirable)
  • Knowledge of Icon Water’s Maintenance and Operations processes (desirable)
