$120,240 per year plus 15% superannuation

Icon Water is seeking to employ an Asset Investment Planner to lead the development of our Asset Portfolio investment plan, Asset Management System, and to drive continuous improvements.

About your role:
• Coordinating and consolidating investment plans across all asset classes, and owning the prioritization process.
• Being able to present complex financial information and strategies to a largely technical audience with ease and confidence.
• You will develop a 20 year asset portfolio investment plan to support our financial strategy and economic regulatory framework.
• Reviewing our asset portfolio planning process outcomes in order to implement continuous improvement strategies.
• Developing our asset strategic investment planning monitoring indicators and reporting processes.
• Providing guidance in reviewing projects and implementation plans to ensure alignment with plans and funding arrangements.
• Being influential, rational and objective in your approach.
• Working collaboratively with our partners to update expenditure forecasts and portfolio investment value frameworks.
• Actively building and nurturing strong partnerships with a range of people internal and external to the business.
• Using data analysis combined with your knowledge and experience to make sound decisions.
• You will be a self-starter and enjoy working to a deadline.

Are you equipped with:
• Relevant tertiary qualifications, such as in engineering, economics, finance or accounting.
• Experience in developing and monitoring asset life cycle costings.
• Extensive experience in portfolio investment planning.
• Experience influencing others to understand business requirements and work together to achieve outcomes.
• Working knowledge of ISO 55001 requirements.
• Knowledge of regulatory and legislative requirements in a utility.

Even better, if you have:
• A dual degree in engineering and economics/ accounting /business or finance.
