A vacancy currently exists within Wannon Water’s Monitoring and Reporting team for the position of Technical Officer.

The applicant will be required to prepare monthly reports in a timely, accurate and user friendly manner, develop and maintain manuals that require technical language describing water and sewerage facilities and the processes to operate these facilities.

Critical to this role is the ability to communicate at all levels and to gather information from different sources and present the information in a clear and concise way. Applicants will be proficient with software including Microsoft Office along with a practical knowledge of quality management systems and the ability to develop documentation within a quality framework. Applicants must be organised and willing to travel to water and sewerage facilities across Wannon Water’s service district.

An appreciation of the process and risks associated with the provision of water and sewer services would be beneficial.

This position has a salary range of $63,487 to $73,612 p.a plus 9.5% superannuation depending on qualifications and experience.

Hours for this position are Monday to Friday 8.15am to 5.00pm with a forty-five minute meal break. Flexibility in working hours to meet family commitments may be considered for the successful applicant.
