The Opportunity

In this role, you will lead the Evoenergy Environmental Team by developing programs and plans that drive long term sustainability.

You will be providing expert advice to the on environmental opportunities, issues and performance, including climate change, sustainable procurement, energy, waste and contaminant and incident management.

That’s the technical stuff, but we value your energy, curiosity, customer focus and ability to build relationships.

A day in the life:

• You will be leading and mentoring a small team of environmental specialists
• You will be developing dedicated environmental programs of work and building a probabilistic approach to environmental compliance strategies in anticipation of future regulatory change
• You will be representing Evoenergy at environmental forums
• You will be championing the development of future environmental strategies and actions

About you

• You hold a tertiary qualification in engineering, science or environmental management
• You have a deep understanding of environmental management practices related to the activities of an energy distribution utility
• You have a working knowledge of Commonwealth, ACT and NSW environmental legislation
• You have proven experience in managing of a range of environmental programs
