An exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Policy Officer to join the Partnerships and Sector Performance division in the Water and Catchments Group. The Senior Policy officer will undertake critical analysis, source and review relevant information to formulate policy advice in relation to water industry reform, efficiency, economic regulation and pricing. They will also carry out and manage projects and policy reviews and develop frameworks to support advice, assessment and policy development.

The successful candidate will possess an appropriate tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline to policy development, such as economics or a related field. The applicant must have extensive relevant professional work experience in areas such as water policy, economic regulation, industry performance, and/or water resources and water services.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 12 months.
