The Mallee Catchment Management Authority is seeking an innovative professional and adept communicator keen to make a significant contribution to the important work of balancing primary production and environmental preservation.

The position of Project Manager Irrigation, is a new position based in Mildura and will play a pivotal role in planning, developing and implementing a range of strategic and innovative priority projects at a regional scale. It is a unique opportunity to have end to end control, from concept to completion.

The successful applicant will have highly developed business development and contract management skills with the capacity to engage with a wide variety of audiences, scientific, community and industry representatives alike.

Tertiary Qualifications in Environmental Management, Natural Resource Management (NRM) or equivalent and five years demonstrated experience in all aspects of project management are required to undertake this role.

This position offers flexible work life balance arrangements and is available on a two year full time basis, with extension subject to funding. An attractive salary package is available and will be negotiable based on experience and expertise of the successful applicant.
