An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced motivated, enthusiastic and highly organised Hydrogeologist to join the Department of Environment and Natural Resources’ Water Resources Division.

The Hydrogeologist works under the direction of the Director Water Assessment, to deliver hydrological and hydrogeological projects and programs and provide groundwater hydrological information and advice to ensure sustainable development across the Northern Territory.

The Hydrogeologist will contribute to the delivery of water assessment projects and programs to extend and develop the understanding of water resource capabilities, risks and capacity in the Northern Territory to meet Government’s priorities and commitments, including provision of technical and policy input into hydrological and hydrogeological projects and programs.

The Hydrogeologist will be an expert in their field and will deploy industry leading water resource assessment techniques and standards and facilitate landowner, land manager, government and non-government organisations and community groups’ participation in water assessment projects.
