WaterNSW has launched a new service for landholders applying to dig new bores.

The new customer portal is intended to allow easy access to online bore applications, including submitting basic landholder rights (BLR) details.

WaterNSW says it is part of efforts to make business interactions “as fast, efficient and user-friendly as possible”.

Ongoing work should see the introduction of more features including a portal for applying for a water licence, work approval and other licensing applications, ordering and trading water, monitoring water account balances, submitting data from water meters, and paying bills.

“Our customer portal features will be progressively rolled out  and will continue to drive our transition to digital enablement and self-service,” says WaterNSW executive manager David Stockler.
