The NSW State Office of Water has published its findings into the effects of increased environmental flow on the Snowy River.

The Office of Water confirmed to the ABC that 17 gigalitres of water was released into the river in the last week of November last year.

The Office found that the run-off has resulted in sediment movement and substantial cleaning of the Snowy River bed.

The Office of Water has also confirmed their intention for another release in Spring this year.
