The Victorian Government has announced the appointment of new directors to the boards of Victoria's 10 Catchment Management Authorities (CMAs).

The appointments include 39 new directors and nine directors who have been reappointed.

The appointment of the new directors comes after the chairs of the boards were announced in July this year. Each board consists of a chairperson and up to eight members, with directors appointed for either two or four years.

CMAs and their boards are set up under the Catchment and Land Protection Act 1994 and are accountable to the Minister for Environment and Climate Change and the Minister for Water.
