Duties

Consulting Projects: Collaborate with planning engineers to support various consulting projects, providing technical expertise and contributing to the development and implementation of effective water and sewerage planning strategies. Key tasks will include project management, hydraulic model development, network master planning, scripting, technical report writing and other associated tasks.

Software Support & Training: Assist clients in utilising the Autodesk Water Infrastructure Software suite effectively, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing timely and accurate solutions to ensure smooth project operations. The right candidate may optionally become an InfoWorks trainer, providing InfoWorks ICM and InfoWorks WS Pro training to clients across Australia and New Zealand.

Research and Development: Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to water engineering, proposing innovative ideas and contributing to the continuous improvement of our solutions.

As the ideal candidate you will have:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Hons)
  • 3-6 years post-graduate experience
  • Experience in water and sewerage network hydraulic modelling and master planning
  • An interest in operational technology and solutions.
  • English communication skills for professional and courteous client contact; and
  • An ability to manage work activities and deliverables in a timely manner according to project schedule.
  • Experience in water resources and receiving environment modelling would be an advantage.

  • Ability to apply sound, practical technical solutions to problems and meet deadlines;
  • Confidence with communications, both verbal and written;
