Water Management Engineer

We are looking for 2 experienced Senior Civil Engineers with experience in water management to assist our tier 1 mining client in their Perth Office. The roles are are 5/2 roster (9 hour days), with potential flexibility.

These are exceptional opportunities for someone who wants to take the next leap in their career as a Consultant, propelling their career forward and being rewarded financially. These role are between $200k/year and $250k/year, both being initial 12 month contracts with very likely extension or if you wish, deployment to one of our many other clients. 

Water Intensity Engineer

Reporting to the Principal of Water Intensity and Water Banking, you'll be at the forefront of delivering key water outcomes across our clients Pilbara iron ore operation. The role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with a diverse and passionate team, and implement step-change solutions to meet the clients short to medium term operational and water stewardship goals. In water intensity specifically, we are focused to reduce the volume used to produce iron ore. How water is managed and used at their sites and using smarter tools to extract insight, support decision-making, and inform water-wise behaviours.

This role is for someone with experience in water management and looking to take the next step in their career. Paying $200-220k/year.

To be considered you must meet the following criteria:

  • Background and tertiary qualification in Civil, Geotechnical or Hydrogeological or similar.
  • Experience with and or familiarity with water management systems & tools, and water use within the mining industry.
  • Familiarity with Mine Water Management infrastructure and an understanding of the challenges associated with mine water management, is preferrable,
  • Have exceptional and professional communication skills to engage and influence other personnel within the business.
  • Have excellent time management and task prioritisation skills.
  • Have an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development.
  • Working Rights in Australia and based in Perth. 

Water Management Engineer

Reporting to the Principal of Water Intensity and Water Banking, you will be an active intermediary between the business leadership team and the project team, and with accountability for the delivery of the program; ensuring business and project needs are met and progressing in a timely manner, such to mitigate / avoid business impacts.

This role is for someone experienced with a few years experience in a similar role. Paying $220-250k/year.

To be considered you must meet the following criteria:

  • Background and tertiary qualification in Civil, Geotechnical or Hydrogeological or similar.
  • Experience with and or familiarity with the scoping, design and implementation of Pit Lake Water Storage, Dams and or Tailings Facilities.
  • Familiarity and experience with assessing, evaluation and defining regulatory approval requirements.
  • Have exceptional and professional communication skills to engage and influence other personnel within the business.
  • Have excellent time management and task prioritisation skills.
  • Have an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development.
  • Working Rights in Australia and based in Perth.
