Learning & Development Specialist

About the role
The newly created role of Learning and Development Specialist will support CHW, and our people, to drive best practice learning solutions, support a high performance culture and manage the full spectrum of learning and development activities across the business.

Their main responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver and design learning artefacts, e-learning, virtual classroom and classroom training for our organisation
  • Develop and implement the CHW Learning & Development (L&D) Framework, outlining the strategic and overall business approach to succession planning, career growth opportunities and talent management initiatives
  • Identify CHW core competencies and capabilities required to deliver on strategic objectives
  • Develop, consult on and implement a new competency framework and assessment model
  • Embed the 70/20/10 Learning Model to CHW by developing new, and updating existing, resources to align the model to CHW’s Capability framework
  • Support development of CHW onboarding process by assisting with the design and delivery of the induction and orientation modules
  • Provide guidance and support to People Leaders to develop capability and drive best practice development solutions to support a high performing culture
  • Design and formalise a career and role development framework and program that supports business continuity, job rotation, succession planning and talent management
  • Partner with Manager Organisational Development, and other stakeholders, to develop and implement a new and improved graduate, trainee and apprentice program
