Candidates with backgrounds in a range of science, engineering and social science disciplines are encouraged to apply.  Your academic record will be outstanding and you must have an honours degree (or equivalent). Some research experience is also desirable. To submit an Expression of Interest, please email enquiries@groundwater.com.au, attaching the following documents (pdf or Word only):

  1. A covering letter, addressed to the Director, National Centre for Groundwater Research and Training, summarising your research experience and indicating any PhD project and research preferences.   Please also include any location preference;
  2. Your curriculum vitae, and
  3. Your academic transcripts.

The closing date for Expressions of Interest is Monday 3rd August 2015.  Shortlisted candidates will then be invited to proceed with a formal application to the partner university.  All prospective PhD applicants who are approved for candidature are expected to apply for an Australian Postgraduate Award, or an equivalent at their home university.  Details of the APA process can be found here:  https://education.gov.au/australian-postgraduate-awards
