Get off the tools but still put your plumbing skills to good use in this waste water compliance role!

Are you looking for a job which combines your plumbing and technical know-how with your customer service and team player skills? Then look no further!

Working as part of a small, multidisciplinary team you will be responsible for co-ordinating liquid trade waste and backflow systems within commercial and industrial businesses, including undertaking site inspections, investigations and wastewater quality sampling.

Using your excellent communication and customer service skills you will use your knowledge of the water / wastewater industry to work closely with over 300 customers across a diverse industry base to ensure that Councils Liquid Trade Waste and Water Supply policies are implemented and adhered to.

Having a strong technical and compliance focus, this is a role which gives you a high level of independence, putting you out in the field, planning your own day, and because of this you must be able to plan and work to deadlines and also be flexible when it comes to your start and finish times.

To be successful in this position you will need to have a Plumbing Trade Qualification, a General Construction Induction Card and a current Class C Drivers Licence. Knowledge of sewage treatment / pre-treatment systems, backflow prevention, liquid trade waste regulations, plumbing codes and AS 3500 is also required.

For the successful applicant this position offers a salary of up to $60k pa (depending on skills and experience), a 35 hour working week and a fortnightly RDO.
